Established in January 2020, Poppy’s of Macon began as a joyful side hobby while founder Mary Frances was teaching preschool. What started as a creative outlet quickly blossomed into a full-time passion project—and now a beloved local business.

A proud native of Macon, Georgia, Mary Frances has always had an eye for interiors and a heart for color. Her love of antiques was passed down through generations—thanks to her mother, grandmother, and aunt who introduced her to the art of antique hunting at a young age. Inspired by this legacy, she now brings that same joy and care to every piece curated at Poppy’s.

Named after Mary Frances’ and her mother-in-law’s favorite flower, the poppy holds a special place in their hearts. The purple, pink, and blue varieties—symbolizing luxury, success, and imagination—perfectly reflect the spirit behind each one-of-a-kind creation at Poppy’s.
